Creamy Beefy Tomato Tortellini


You'll want to dive into this sauce with both hands. It's that good! It's actually a great sauce for any type of pasta you choose or can be served over rice. In this particular recipe I chose Tortellini.

Tortellini is my go to when I want something a little different, in means of pasta. But, in reality any pasta is my type of pasta!











INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 lb ground beef

  • 1/2 chopped yellow onion

  • 3 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup spinach

  • 2 ounces cream cheese

  • 1 cup grated parmesan or similar cheese

  • 1/2 lb tortellini

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a skillet or cast iron over medium heat heat 1 tbsp of cooking oil. Add the ground beef and cook until mostly brown. Add onions and garlic.

  2. Cook until onions are translucent and ground beef is browned all the way through.

  3. Add heavy cream and cook until simmering. Add cream cheese and stir until fully mixed in. then add parmesan, stir until melted. Then add spinach and continue to cook until wilted. Turn heat to low and cover.

  4. In separate pot, bring water to boil and cook pasta. Drain and then add to your sauce. Enjoy!
