If you’re looking for a comforting, no-fuss dinner that everyone will actually eat, this Creamy Beef Skillet Mac is it. It’s rich, cheesy, and made all in one skillet — which means fewer dishes and more time enjoying dinner.
This recipe is one of those meals that feels nostalgic but still elevated enough to serve on a busy weeknight. It’s hearty, filling, and packed with flavor, making it a go-to when you need something quick but satisfying.

Ingredients:
1 lb Ground Beef
1 lb Centellini Pasta
1 small onion diced
3 gloves garlic minced
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cup reserved pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup shredded parmesan
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
8 oz tomato sauce
4 tbsp tomato paste
fresh basil as garnish
Directions:
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
Stir in the tomato paste, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it cook while you prepare the pasta.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Before draining, reserve ¼–½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta.
Uncover the meat sauce and stir in the heavy cream along with ¼ cup of the reserved pasta water. Bring the sauce back to a gentle simmer and cook for about 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Add more pasta water as needed to reach your desired consistency.
Turn off the heat and stir in both cheeses until fully melted and well combined.
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until evenly coated.
Finish with fresh basil and extra Parmesan cheese before serving.
