Ingredients

½ small yellow onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

½ cup dry white wine
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup reserved pasta water
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil, chopped
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
How to Make Creamy Bacon Tuscan Spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove excess grease from the pan, leaving just enough to sauté.
Add the chopped onion, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, and tomato paste to the pan. Stir and cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
Deglaze the pan with the white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let the wine reduce slightly.
Add the chicken broth, reserved pasta water, and Italian seasoning. Reduce heat and let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and fresh basil until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve warm and enjoy.
Tips & Variations
Add spinach or kale at the end for extra greens
Swap spaghetti for fettuccine or penne if preferred
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor
Adjust the creaminess by adding more pasta water if needed
