Ingredients
Spicy Crispy Chicken
2 chicken breasts, flattened
½ cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup spicy panko breadcrumbs
Salt & pepper
Garlic powder
Paprika
Oil, for cooking
Caesar Dressing
½ cup mayonnaise
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1–2 cloves garlic, grated
Salt & pepper, to taste
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
For Assembly
Hoagie buns
Romaine lettuce
Butter (for toasting buns)
Instructions
1. Bread the Chicken
Start by seasoning both sides of the flattened chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls:
One with flour
One with beaten eggs
One with spicy panko breadcrumbs
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, dip into the eggs, then coat fully in the spicy panko. Press gently to help the breadcrumbs stick.
2. Cook the Chicken
Heat a generous amount of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken.
Cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate and set aside.
3. Make the Caesar Dressing
In a medium bowl, add the mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, grated garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
Add the chopped romaine lettuce to the bowl and toss until evenly coated in the dressing. Stir in the grated Parmesan.
4. Toast the Buns
Butter the inside of each hoagie bun and toast in a skillet or on a griddle until lightly golden and crisp.
5. Assemble the Sandwich
Layer the crispy chicken onto the toasted buns. Top generously with the Caesar-dressed romaine and finish with extra Parmesan if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy immediately.
