Viral Crab Rangoon Nachos

If you love crispy, creamy, and flavorful appetizers, these Crab Rangoon Nachos are about to become your new favorite snack. They take everything you love about classic crab rangoon and turn it into a shareable, crispy, dip-able nacho-style dish that’s perfect for parties, game nights, or snacking at home.

Each bite is golden and crunchy on the outside, filled with a creamy, savory crab filling, and topped with sweet chili sauce and spicy mayo for the perfect balance of flavor.

Ingredients

Crab Rangoon Filling

  • 8 oz imitation crab, chopped (225 g)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (225 g)

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1–2 green onions, sliced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

Wrapper + Frying

  • Wonton wrappers

  • Water (for sealing edges)

  • Oil for frying

Toppings

  • Sriracha mayo

  • Sweet chili sauce

  • Sesame seeds

  • Fresh jalapeño slices

Instructions

1. Make the Filling

In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, imitation crab, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, sugar, green onions, and minced garlic until well combined.

2. Assemble the Wonton “Nachos”

Lay one wonton wrapper flat. Brush the edges lightly with water. Add about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center, then place a second wonton wrapper on top. Press and seal the edges firmly.

Repeat until all filling is used.

3. Fry Until Crispy

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry each wonton “nacho” for 1–2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

4. Assemble & Serve

Arrange crispy wonton pieces on a plate or platter. Drizzle with sriracha mayo and sweet chili sauce, then top with sesame seeds and fresh jalapeño slices.

Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Tips & Notes

  • Seal edges tightly to prevent filling from leaking while frying

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan so they fry evenly

  • Serve immediately for the best crunch

  • You can also air fry for a lighter version (spray with oil and cook until golden)

  • Add extra garlic or green onion if you like stronger flavor

Final Thoughts

These Crab Rangoon Nachos are crispy, creamy, and absolutely addictive. They take a classic takeout favorite and turn it into something even more fun and shareable. Perfect for entertaining or when you just want something indulgent and different.

Once you make these, they’ll disappear fast.
